With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Harrison (Dunnville, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 65, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Funke and Vilma Funke; her stepbrother Danny (Sharon); her sister Nancy (Garnet); and her brother-in-law Fred.
She is survived by: her siblings, Pat (Dave), Helen (Barry), Jim (Laura), Ralph, Marie and Kathy (Dan); her sisters-in-law, Diane and Marlene (Bill); her husband Neil Harrison; her children, Brad (Kristy), Chris (Erica), Nicky (Tom) and Jessica (Justin); her grandchildren, Ainsley, Brody, Logan, Madison, Hudson, Benjamin, Brook Lynn, Jayden, Sawyer, Jameson and Paislee; and her friends, Marie, Roberta and Kellie.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ballard Minor Funeral Home (315 Broad St E, Dunnville, ON N1A1G4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church (21 Ottawa St S, Cayuga, ON N0A1E0). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the East Seneca Cemetery (605 Concession 1 Rd, Canfield, ON N0A1C0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Society or Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation.
