As Matthew departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Matthew leaves behind.

He is survived by: his daughter Grace; the mother of his child Sarah; his parents, Bob and Valli; his siblings, Rob (Jovita) and Ellen Packham (Ken); and his siblings' children, Maya (Brayden), Taylor and Bailey (Ryder). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Matt's wishes, donations may be made in kind to a trust fund established for his daughter Grace.
