Richard Stienstra Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Stienstra (Dunnville, Ontario), who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Stienstra and Wimke Stienstra; his siblings, Enzy Stienstra, Joan Linker (Jim), Anne Riedstra (Tom), Tina Stienstra, Henry Stienstra and Peter Stienstra; and his in-laws, Peter, Margaret Vriend, Casey Vriend, Willa Ellwood (Gary) and John Vriend (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude (Trudy); his children, Wendy Stienstra, Margo Bird (Richard), Deborah Stienstra (Greg Corey), Michael Stienstra (Carrie), Daphne Nemeth (Jack) and Lyn Stienstra (Art Turner); his great grandchild Juniper Jones-Maier; his sister Mary Postma (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Tina Stienstra, Tina Bax (Bernie) and Jake Vriend (Minka). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Christian Education organization of your choice, in memory of Richard Stienstra.
