She was predeceased by : her siblings, Conrad Braun and Judy Guerris; and her daughter-in-law Mary Tilker-Black. She is survived by : her husband Charles Black; her children, Malcolm Black (Valerie), Andrew Black (Kira), Sharon Black and Nancy (Len Bryant); her grandchildren, Anthony (Robert), Christopher (Saane), Colin, Micailyn, Tyler, Julia and Charlie; her sisters, Heidi Kaiser, Bridget Bierhals, Monika (Helmut Foertsch) and Mary (Paul MacMillan); and her siblings-in-law, Ann, Ralph Hollis and Carol Black.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House (cheques payable to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc.) would be appreciated by the family.
