He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Wall and Maureen Wall. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Dickson; his nieces, Katie Ouellette, Dana Parker and Nicole Dowd; and his pet Skipper.

During the Covid pandemic he applied technical skills and knowledge, to record weekly services at Knox United Church, Durham.
