He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Fischer and Violet Fischer; his son Mark; his grandson Austin Holley; his brother Bryan Fischer; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Henning and Robert Tone.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Lori (Steve Holley), Teri Fischer (Scott Lawlor), Chris Fischer (Amy) and Craig Fischer (Pamela); his grandchildren, Taylor (Jay), Dylan, Ryan, Macy, Hailey, Charlie, Lily, Sarah (Zach), Charlotte and Ben; his siblings, Sheila, Jim Meyer and Eunice Henning; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Fischer, Barb Tone, Bryan, Jean Tone, Kevin, Val Tone, Deanna, Ray Lewis and Mary Jo Tone.
