We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2026, Dennis Russell of Durham, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wives, Clara and Susanna MacKenzie; and his brother Glenn Russell (late Neit). He is survived by: his children, Richard Russell (Helen) and Diana (Steve Kuranyi); his stepchildren, Beverley MacKenzie and Gayle MacKenzie; his close friend Herb Hendricks; and his siblings, Yvonne Huys (late Tony) and Donald Russell (late Jean). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Annesley United Church (82 Toronto St S, Markdale, ON N0C1H0). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at the Markdale Cemetery (234-240 Main St E, Markdale, ON N0C1H0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Durham Food Bank or Safe N Sound Grey Bruce would be appreciated.
