She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard Smith; and her siblings, Ed, Roddy Brennan (Joan) and Barry Brennan (Sheena). She is survived by: her children, Donna (James Carde) and Gerard Smith; and her siblings, Danny Brennan (Anne) and Gladys Smith. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
