She was predeceased by : her husband Seth Hopkins; her parents, George Day and Margaret "Peggy" Day; and her siblings, Milton Day, Ann Robinson, Patricia Day and Margaret Ihnat.

She is survived by : her children, George Hopkins, James Hopkins, Ann (Robert Scheuerman), David Hopkins (Mary) and Louise (Mark Grove). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Durham Baptist Church or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
