He was predeceased by : his wife Myrtle Baptist (Matheson); his parents, Russell Baptist and Eileen Baptist; and his brother Willard Baptist. He is survived by : his family, Ed Matheson (Brenda), Larry Matheson (Karen) and Shirley Matheson (Tom Gunn); his grandchildren, Colby Matheson, Cynthia, David Roy, Jennifer, Jim McGillivray, Stacey, Dustin Brown, Andrew, Michelle Matheson, Amelia McCarthy, Derek Vokes, James and Maureen McCarthy; and his great grandchildren, William, Logan, Evelyn, Tatum, Alex, Kentaya, Alice, Clara, Jesse, Kiera, Mackenzie, Della and Charles.
