With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Baines of Durham, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil Baines; her parents, Robert Clydesdale and Eleanor Clydesdale; and her parents-in-law, Victor and Irene Baines.
She is survived by: her children, Shaun Baines (Jenn Dean) and Scott Baines (Abbey Black); and her grandchildren, Charlotte, Joan, Wyatt, Dalynne and Colton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chapman House (cheques payable to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc.) would be appreciated by the family.
