He was predeceased by : his spouse Marion Manarey; his parents, James "Jack" Manarey and Jessie Manarey; his brothers, Russel Manarey (late Marjorie) and Gord Manarey (late Betty); and his brother-in-law Vincent Paylor.

He is survived by : his children, Janet (Warren McWaters), Laura-Anne (Joe Pridham), David Manarey (Jo-Anne) and Shawn Manarey; and his siblings-in-law, Cecil Paylor (Judy), Harry Paylor (Nancy) and Lynn Paylor. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
