She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Hertel and Edith Hertel; and her brothers, John, Richard and Doug Hertel.

She is survived by : her children, Mark Steeb (Jackie) and Suzanne (late Glen Miller); her grandchildren, Cody Steeb (Danielle) and Taylor Steeb; her sister Brenda McGaghey; and her siblings-in-law, Jane Hertel, Muriel Steeb and Richard Steeb.
