She was predeceased by : her spouse Mel Schope; and her siblings, Jack Newman, Roy Newman and June Smith. She is survived by : her brothers, Allen Newman (Norma) and Tom Newman (Lynn); her brother-in-law Ross Peart; and her pet Penny. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
