We bid farewell to Roger Duguay (Durham, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 5, 2025 at the age of 56. Roger touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Roger had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Roger may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Duguay and Frances Duguay of Durham; his children, Jessica (Brandon Hastie) of Hanover and Jeremie Duguay (Michayla) of Durham; and his siblings, Annette Duguay (Luc McFadden) of Hanover and Rene Duguay (Shelley Gill) of Durham. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 308 (271 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G1R0). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
