She was predeceased by : her husband Jack McGowan; her friend Alec Yule; her son-in-law Brad Hopkins; her parents, George Tomlin and Marguerite Tomlin; her brothers, Edward "Ted", Jack, Glenn and Ross; and her sisters-in-law, Ilene Tomlin, Laura (Harry Hill) and Audrey McGowan.

She is survived by : her children, Edith McGowan (Newman Parrott), Joan (Dennis Reay), Edward McGowan (Diane), George McGowan (Lynda), Helen Hopkins (Don Shane) and Jean McGowan; and her grandchildren, Julie, Jose Arostica, Greg, Janice Wells, Tim Reay, Susan, Dan Grubb, Eric McGowan, Ben, Amanda McGowan, Aaron McGowan, Andrea, Jason Watts, Jennifer McGowan, Mark Hopkins, Chris, Angela Hopkins, Lisa Ziegler (Mike Ohlin), Steven Ziegler, Matthew, Katy Arostica, Cassie, Roberto Rubertone, Jessica Grubb, Spencer Watts, Ethan McGowan, Mason, Sam Hopkins, Olivia, Elio and Silvio.
