It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger William Catchpole of Dutton, Ontario, born in Saint-Thomas, Ontario, who passed away on September 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Catchpole and Annie Catchpole; and his siblings, Mabel Lefevre (Harry), Dorothy Catchpole, Lillian Catchpole, Leonard Catchpole (Jeanette Clements) and Muriel Luton (late Bill).
He is survived by : his wife Elaine Catchpole; his children, Lon Catchpole (Connie) of Dutton, Tim Catchpole (Susan) of St. Thomas and Jill Sheehy of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Jennifer Catchpole, Christopher Catchpole (Alexiz), Laura Sheehy (Marco Silva), Justin Sheehy (Tina Bracamonte), Tim Sheehy, Elizabeth David (Ryan), Meghan Denko (Christine), Dane Elms (Kim) and James Elms; his stepchildren, George Anderson (Shari Harper), Carol Chesney (Bill), Deb Porter (Rob Wright), Cheryl Forshner (Don) and Patti Dyment; his nephew Fred Catchpole (Barb); and his nieces, Janice Beesley (Gary) and Margie Bradbury (Ray). He is also survived by his 13 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great grandchildren.
