She was predeceased by: her parents, Eila Saura and Heikki Saura; her sister Kitty Bergman (late Doug); her parents-in-law, Toini and Leo Tanninen; and her siblings-in-law, Veijo (Heidi), Eric (Cheryl) and Jari.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Tanninen; her son Jani Tanninen (Christina); her grandchildren, Haley and Henrik; her siblings, Katrina Durocher (late Wayne), Hannu Saura (Judy), Elise Butts (late Mike), Mauri Saura and Johanna Protch (Orest); and her siblings-in-law, Sakari (Jane), Sinikka (late Timo Kuoppala), Lea (Hannu Hakkarainen), Leila (late Geoff Tyrrel), Kenny (Jane), Julia (Bill Blomquist), Liisa (Stan McDaniels) and Katri (Jeff Biggar).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.
