He is survived by: his wife Laura Lee (Smith); his children, Erika Shirley Ruth McFarlane, Dominic Bruce McFarlane and Raine Donald McFarlane; his mother Minerva Ruth McFarlane (Zohr); his siblings, Laura Gerow (Dwight), Karen Rosien (Bob), Debbie Brooks (John) and Glenn McFarlane (Elizabeth); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Moreau (Joe), Larry Smith (Margaret), Lawson Smith (Elva), Steve Smith (Sheryl), James Smith (Heather) and Cecille Smith (Simon). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
