It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doreen Margaret Louise Verch (Eganville, Ontario), who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Verch; her daughter-in-law Joan; her parents, Arthur Hass and Margaret Hass; and her sister Lois Hunt.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn, Daryl (Bonnie), Suzanne (Vince), Patricia (Steven) and Dale (Pauline); and her siblings, Harold, Vernie Hass and Meleda Jessup. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zohr Family Funeral Home Inc. - Eganville (194 Jane St, Eganville, ON K0J1T0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John's Anglican Church (109 Victoria St, Eganville, ON K0J1T0). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:10 PM at the St. Clements Anglican Cemetery (3606 Opeongo Rd W, Bonnechere Valley, ON K0J1T0).
