He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mittag and Rosalie Mittag (Hartwig); and his brothers, Ewald, Erwin (Judy), Albert (Jane) and Otto (late Rita).
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Mittag (Verch); his children, Darlene Desjardins, Laura Lee Schofield (Andrew) and Christian Mittag (Crystal); his grandchildren, Travis (Audrey), Tyler, Marshal, Mallory Desjardins, Hillary (Riley), Panke (Mittag), Hildi, Cohen Mittag, Madelyn, Archer and Adler Panke; and his sisters, Elma Smith (late Lornie) and Ida Kolesnyk (late John). He is also survived by his family and friends.
