He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Melady and Mary Melady; his brothers, Theo and Jimmy; and his brother-in-law Glenn Butters.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Melady (Lemaire); his sons, Paul, Mark (Sandra) and Tim (Christa); his grandchildren, Hillary, Conlan, Hannah, Keegan, Mackenzie (Colin), Liam, Meg (Brady) and Riley (Chris); his great grandchildren, Blue, Weston and Peyton; and his sister-in-law Catherine Melady. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Haskett Funeral Home (87 Goderich St W, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (22 Victoria St, Seaforth, ON N0K1W0).
Donations to Huronview Home for the Aged, or Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
