It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Elizabeth Kahrman (Elgin, Ontario), who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Colleen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Colleen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Colleen leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Kahrman; her children, Madelyn (Page) of Ottawa and Arthur Kahrman of Ottawa; her parents, Elizabeth Douglas and Charles Douglas of Kingston; and her sibling Robbie Douglas (Debbie) of Wolfe Island.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation or the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre) would be appreciated.
