He was predeceased by: his wife Donna "Darlene" Kirk (Wilcox); his siblings, Terry Kirk and Lynn Kirk (Nancy); and his parents, Laurence Kirk and Alice Kirk (Stanley).

He is survived by: his children, Terri-Lynn (Gerry) and Tom (Kristi); his grandchildren, Hannah, Tanner, Abby, Morgan, Hayden and Hazel; and his siblings, Larry Kirk (Merri), Brian Kirk and Judy Earhart (late Don).
