She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Gillis and William Lawlor; her spouse Colonel Ozzie Ward; and her siblings, Catherine Nugent, Maureen O'Neil, William, Laurence, Gregory, Gerald and Peter Lawlor.

She is survived by: her children, John (Diana Chang) of Vancouver, Michael (Patricia Maloney) of Ottawa, Anne (Robert Miller) of Ottawa and Beth (Alain Denis) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Christopher (Sierra), Alexa, David, Adam, Ryan and Michael Maloney; and her great grandchild Jack. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Ottawa Hospital or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
