She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Dobson (Dob); her former husband Ramon Sheffield; her parents, Gardiner Ball and Audrey Ball; her brothers, Gerald Ball (Marie) and Bill Ball (Lynda); and her daughter-in-law Wendy Sheffield.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Sheffield (Lynne Martichenko); her grandchildren, Bradley Sheffield (Carly Wolff) and Rebecca Tassé (Alex); her siblings, John Ball (Beth), Garnet Ball (Joanna) and Garfield Ball (Sue); and her friend Barry Benoit of Portland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 Main St, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home Chapel (27 Main St, Elgin, ON K0G 1E0).
