He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ashbury and Christina Ashbury; his daughter Nancy Ashbury; and his siblings, Gerald, Stanley, Britton, Olive Gruhl, Gladys Greenwood and Betty Ashbury.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Charles Ashbury (Sharon Broughton) of Mildmay, Eric Ashbury of Walkerton and Kristine Corolis (Andrew) of St. Catharines; and his grandchildren, Michael, Charles, Jana, Nicholas, Lindsay, Brittany and William. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Trinity Lutheran Church Walkerton or to Walkerton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
