It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Preston (Elgin, Ontario), who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Delong Preston and Etta Winona Rennick; his former wife Joyce MacPherson; and his grandson Jesse Preston. He is survived by: his wife Joan Strack (Anweiler); his children, Paul of Nanaimo and Sheri Francis (Bob) of Winchester; his sisters, Charlotte Justus (late Duane) of Winchester and Dixie Cook (late Sandy) of Renfrew; his great grandchildren, Avery Preston, Cohen, Stellan Francis and Ira Williamson; his nieces and nephews, Megan Fawcett (Jim), Martha, Peter Justus, Terry Cook (Lisa), Cynthia Powell (Dave), Bryan Fetterly (Cathy), Dawn Hutt (Brian) and Mark Fetterly (Andrea); his sister-in-law Mary Taylor (late Blake) of Winchester; and his children, Patricia (Bob Johnston) of Toronto, Rebecca (Lorraine Chick) of Kingston, Jeff (Angela Gayle) of Lyndhurst and Jane (Chris Sherrin) of London.
