She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Robertson; her parents, James Brown and Gwendolyn Brown; her brother J. David Brown; and her brother-in-law Murray Robertson of Athens.
She is survived by: her son Brett (Jennifer Maheral) of Kars; her stepchildren, Terry (Ray Sacha) of Calgary, Sandra (Richard Dolan) of Ottawa and Connie Paul (Arnie) of Brantford; her grandchildren, Cooper, Callum Robertson, Alex, Ashley and Candice Paul; her sister Sandra Hinch (Bill Churchill) of Kingston; and her sibling-in-law Jean Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elgin Community Hall (47 Main St, Elgin, ON K0G1E0).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites donations in Sylvia's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
