She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Peter Vanderwater. She is survived by: her sons, Don of Elliot Lake, Darrell (Anna) of Renfrew and Dan of Elliot Lake; her grandchildren, Cole, Ryan, Nathan, Austin and Brooklyn; and her brother Jerry Lacroix (Betty Ann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
