Lorna Skanes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorna Skanes of Elliot Lake, Ontario, who passed away on October 21, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorna Skanes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Martin and Jean Martin of Elliot Lake. She is survived by: her husband Alan; her sons, Mike (Liz) and Mark (Melissa); her grandchildren, Nangoons (Will), Emma Rose, Lucas, Molly, Joel and William; her great grandchild Liam; and her siblings, Ted (Denice) and Marlene (Barry).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moose Lodge (26 Oakland Blvd, Elliot Lake, ON P5A2T1). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery.
