With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Margaret (Simmons) McBurney (Elliot Lake, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on April 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Lee McBurney. She is survived by : her husband Clement Charest; her children, Shawn (Jacqueline), Marta (Rob) and Charlene (Stan); her stepdaughters, Joanne (Jeff) and Monique (Erik); and her siblings, Henry Simmons and Cathy Simmons. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's name to the Elliot Lake Food Bank.
