He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Murphy and Mary Murphy; and his siblings, Patrick "Paddy" Murphy (Jane) and Susan Stewart (Thomas "Tom"). He is survived by : his wife Diane Murphy; his children, Steven Murphy (Heidi) and Maryanne Murphy-Johnson (Cory); his grandchildren, Claire, Emily, Olivia, Zoey and Colton; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.

Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph's Foundation of Elliot Lake (Oncology Renovation Project) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
