He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Brunet (Joan) and Dianne Blais. He is survived by : his brother Rick Brunet; his children, Samantha Rivet (Cody) and Matthew Brunet (Jessy); his siblings, Linda Vanderheuvel (Garry), Carmen Mroz (late Andy), David Brunet and Marc Brunet (Elizabeth); his stepsiblings, Terri Androvics (Karl), David Stebbins and Sherri Stebbins; and his grandchild Alexie Rivet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Dave, I was shocked to hear of Rick's passing. Please accept my condolences during this very difficult time. I always looked forward to visiting the both of you over at the camp.
