William Arthur McMurray Obituary

He was predeceased by: his wife Marcella McMurray (Burkitt); his grandson Jonathan Bay; his parents, David LeRoy and Ila McMurray (Gunter); and his siblings, Don, Marie, Myrtle, David, Richard, Bill, Ruth, Royetta, Andy, Keitha, Paul and Sheila.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Bay of Calgary and Sonya Tennisco (Dan) of Ajax; his grandsons, Edward Bay (Kelly) and Jason Tennisco; his great grandchildren, Austin Bay, Matthew Bay, Zak Bay, Jonathan Bay, Edith Bay and Adeline Bay; his siblings, Amos, Doug, Carolyne, Gladys, Betty and Joan; and his siblings-in-law, John Burkitt (Ruth), Bob Clarke (Pat), Betty McMurray, Helen McMurray, Garland Burkitt (Eleanor) and Ruby Cross.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Zion Church (42 Weslemkoon Lake Rd, Gilmour, ON K0L1W0). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Mount Zion Church would be appreciated by the family.
