With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Nibourg of Elmira, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Franciscus Wilhelmus Nibourg; her children, Gretha, Herman Koel, Ida Nibourg Budding and Gerhard Nibourg; and her parents, Johannes Gerhardus Arkes and Hendrik Josephina Arkes Sassen.

She is survived by: her children, Hans Nibourg, Helga Acorn, Ina Nibourg, John, Roos Nibourg, Corrie, Jim Palechka, Frank and Rosemary Nibourg. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

“Tante Leida, rust zacht...ik zal je niet vergeten. Fam. Nibourg gecondoleerd met het verlies van jullie moeder, oma, en overgrootoma. Het is meer dan 45 jaar geleden maar ik herinner mij een lieve Tante en Oom waar we volop konden spelen , waar je je als kind welkom voelde. De zandbak, de gansen die achter ons aan kwamen. Veel plezier bij jullie gehad. Sterkte ! Johan Renker , jongste zoon van Johan Renker en Jo Arkes.”
