We bid farewell to Grace (Geesje) DeBoer (Elora, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Grace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband John DeBoer; her siblings, Mina Krul and Tiem Vanlenthe (late Margje); and her in-laws, Geert, Johan Kok, Gerry DeBoer, Gerri DeBoer, Jan Vanblanken, Harm Van and Wiede.
She is survived by: her children, Henny Denny (Chris Miller), William (Maria DeBoer), Kate DeBoer, Arnold DeBoer (Karen McKenzie), Sandra (Bill Baird) and Evelyn (Bill Henderson); her siblings, Riek Kok and Willem Vanlenthe (Joanne); and her in-laws, Jerry Krul, Alice DeBoer, Miny VanBlanken, Thys DeBoer (Joyce) and Henk DeBoer (Miny). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, 20 grandchildren and their partners/spouses, and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Church (7674 Colborne St, Elora, ON N0B1S0). A reception will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Central Pentecostal Church (7674 Colborne St, Elora, ON N0B1S0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children Believe, and are greatly appreciated by the family.
