He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Matheson and Betty Matheson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie (MacLeod); his siblings, Jack, Allan (Anne), Ken (Marlene "Marnie") and Joan Hobbs (Lloyd); his in-laws, Dianne MacLeod and Brian MacLeod (MarLynn); his uncle Ray; and his aunt Helen Whetstone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
