He was predeceased by : his granddaughter Carly Dodds; his parents, Owen Dodds and Irene Dodds of Ailsa Craig; and his siblings, Dorothy and Carl.

He is survived by : his wife Arlene Dodds; his children, Scott Dodds (Jennifer White) and Sharlene Borden (Steven); his grandchildren, Taylor, Tori Dodds, Carys White, Ashley, Owen Bosker, Paul and Emily Borden; and his brother Wayne Dodds (Theresa).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Friends of Fairvern or Parkinson Canada.
