The memory of Mary Elizabeth Garvey of Ennismore, Ontario, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Garvey of Manchester; and her parents, William Berry and Ellen Berry (Carr). She is survived by: her brother John Berry (Carol); her children, MaryEllen Foster (Ken), Pauline (Scott Young) and Michael; her grandchildren, Katie, Neil (Alison), Emma (Luke Hemingson), Noah (Morgan Sabo), Jacob Foster (Carla Kucher), Lydia Young (Mike Proboszcz), Meghan (Joshua Peters) and Matthew (Joanna Sullivan-Doner); and her great grandchild Charlotte Foster.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Martin of Tours Church (513 Ennis Rd, Ennismore, ON K0L1T0). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Cemetery (801 Tara Rd, Ennismore, ON K0L1T0). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Martin's of Tours Parish Hall (513 Ennis Rd, Ennismore, ON K0L1T0).
In Mary's memory, donations can be made to the Peterborough Alzheimer's Society or St. Martin of Tours Catholic Women's League.
