Charles Shelp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Shelp of Espanola, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Shelp to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. and Helen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Pat); his children, Larry (Ann-Marie), Pam Lortie (Reggie) and Bob (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cody, Matthew, Samara, Parker and Spencer; his sisters, Darlene Gamble (Russell) and Lynn Baby (Don); and his caregiver Marina McVety. He is also survived by his children's friends who became his extended family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Chuck battled with Alzheimer Disease for the past decade and the family acknowledges and thanks his many caregivers over the years, especially Marina McVety who made it possible for him to stay at home for as long as possible.
