We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023, at the age of 91, Julie Lahti of Espanola, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julie Lahti to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Urho Harju and Aune Harju; her brother Fred (Greta); her husband Leo Luopa; and also Carl.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Maija, Andrew, Kristy, Rita, Alek, Peter, Kara and Karleen; her great grandchildren, Eila, Joey, Molly and Mara; and also, Sharon, Brenda (Bert McDowell), Kara and Karleen. She is also survived by her friends, family, many nieces and nephews.

If so desired, donations may be made to the Beaver Lake Sports & Cultural Club or the Espanola Nursing Home (Long Term Care).
