He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Brewster. He is survived by: his children, Anne Matthewman (Alan) of Halifax, NS, Timothy Matthewman (Joanne) of Gilmour, ON and Gillian Matthewman of Amherstburg, ON; his grandchildren, Joshua Matthewman (Megan), Rachel Robitaille (Branden), Adrian Matthewman (Elaine), Jennifer Angeli (Nicholas) and Emily MacIlwain (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lincoln Robitaille, James Matthewman, Oliver and Serena Angeli.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Ascension (1385 University Ave W, Windsor, ON N9B1B6).
