He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Battersby and Margaret Battersby; his father-in-law George; and his siblings, Emerson (Linda), Gordon Battersby Jr. (Shirley) and Jeanine (Sonny).
He is survived by : his wife Phyllis; his mother-in-law Daisy Eede; his children, Rodney (Diane), Cindy Phillips (Brad), Carl Jr. (Ruth) and Wendy Walton (John); his grandchildren, Shawn (Brittainy), Lyndsay (Adam), Meagan, Amber, Cory (Laurie), Kyle, Paige (Jerrid), Sarah, Robert (Jocelyn), Jeff (Christina), Jake (Hannah) and Seth; his great grandchildren, Finley, Emilia, Adriana, Brander, Kade, Oaklee, Dean, Harper, Katelyn, Luke, Evelyn and Hudson; his sister Evelyn (late Wilfred); and his sister-in-law Barbara Pearson (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
