He was predeceased by: his spouse Meredith Jean; his grandson Justin; and his sister Phyllis Fortowsky. He is survived by: his children, Debra Fortowsky (Lisa), Mike (Cathy), Chris, Todd and Diane Fecteau (Steve); his grandchildren, Michael, Christina, Matthew, Jennifer, Luke and Emily; his siblings, Wilfred Fortowsky (Gail) and Marcella Nolan; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur (Joanne), Ted (Vicky), Bryon (Pam), Sherron Ramsay (Rod), Connie Merzaros (Ed) and Bev Camphorst (Ryan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
