It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jean Hanson (Essex, Ontario), who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Donna's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ron Hanson; her parents, John Baker and Evelyn Baker; her sibling Glen Baker (Sherry); and her siblings-in-law, Geri Robitaille (Ron), Carl, Howie (Margaret), Lou Ann Hillan (Al) and Lauralee Hayes (Tim). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home (128 Talbot St N, Essex, ON N8M2C4).
