With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas George Nelson (Essex, Ontario), who passed away on April 5, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Marion Nelson; his parents, Lawrence Nelson and Florence Nelson; his siblings, Shirley McCracken (late Bob) and Bev Bryan (Lyle); and his sister-in-law Ilene Ames (late Elmer).
He is survived by: his children, Gary (Pauline), Dave (Ellen), Keith (Sue) and Lorie (Rob); his sister Marjorie Nussey (Howard); and his siblings-in-law, Kay Wall (late Keith) and Don Srigley. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
