He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonie Haverkamp and Mary Haverkamp; his siblings, Anthony Haverkamp (late Gloria), Martin Haverkamp (Hilda) and Irene Feyen (late Bob); and his brother-in-law Gerald Krabbenbos (Andrew).
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Brenda Wingerden (Jason), Sheila Park, Sandra Zwiers (Rod) and David Haverkamp (Faith); his grandchildren, Marissa Hudak (Michael), Liam Wingerden, Carter Park, Nicole Palmieri (Nick), Chad Zwiers (Stephanie), Tyler Zwiers, Gwen Haverkamp, Miller Haverkamp, Tess Haverkamp, Michael Hudak, Caleb Hudak, Lucas Palmieri, Joshua Palmieri, Layla Palmieri, Traycen Zwiers and Perri Zwiers; his sister Eveline Maksoud (late Peter); and his brothers-in-law, John Krabbenbos (Cheryl) and Brian Krabbenbos (Ginny).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Essex Christian Reformed Church (276 Talbot St S, Essex, ON N8M1B8).
