Hugh Murrin Obituary

With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Hugh on July 15, 2023, at 74 years of age. Beloved husband of Alma with whom he celebrated 16 years of marriage. Loving father of Jason and Stacey. Treasured grandpa of two grandchildren. Brother of Gary Murrin (Vickie) and the late Clarence Murrin. Stepbrother of the late Joyce Nicol. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and the Hunter family.

Hugh retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was actively involved with the Essex County Steam & Gas Engine Museum and Heritage Village. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. N, Essex on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
