With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ian Balsillie (Essex, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Balsillie and Olive Jefferson-Smith; his sister Margaret (England); his grandchildren, Megan, Amelia, Maureen, Janelle, Desirae and Billy; and his great grandchildren, Imogen, Bennett, Seamus, Tessa and Elsie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home (197 King St W, Harrow, ON N0R1G0).
